About the course..
St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club, a club with history dating back to 1923, purchased a 230-acre site off the Needingworth Road in 2007. Three years later the land was transformed by renowned golf course architect Cameron Sinclair into a Championship Links-style Golf Course. The golf course has matured exceptionally well since opening in 2010, its true potential is being realised and there is a clear aspiration for St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club to be recognised as one of the finest golf venues in the East of England.
In addition to the testing nature of the Links-style course, the setting boasts an environment in which wildlife flourishes, promoted by the spectacular natural wetland features and water hazards around the course; over 90 different species of birds have been recorded in what is,
in essence, a wonderful golf course nature reserve setting.
The stunning golf course is complemented by outstanding practice facilities: a Short Game Area which provides purposeful and realistic on-course conditions; and a floodlit Driving Range with thoughtfully placed targets to encourage more meaningful practice. St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club is also home to the Titleist National Fitting Centre, providing the ultimate personal fitting experience where all golfers are treated exactly like PGA Tour players and experience the same process, equipment and TrackMan Launch Monitor technology that the best players in the world rely on to improve their game.
The contemporary designed clubhouse, set in a tranquil and picturesque setting, presents an imposing backdrop and dramatic ‘full-sky’ panoramic views over central Cambridgeshire. With outstanding local infrastructure and transportation links, St Ives (Hunts) Golf Course is the ideal venue for golf, social and business events.
St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club is making a bold statement in the industry, a truly unique golf club where traditional barriers have been overcome and maintaining a clear focus on making those special moments turn into
memories that will last.
